Description

The project aimed to enhance collaboration among Science Granting Councils (SGCs) and other science system actors in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) by fostering partnerships and networks. Its objectives included amplifying the voices of SGCs in regional and continental STI policy debates, creating platforms for interaction, knowledge sharing, and collaboration to support the African Union's STISA 2024, commissioning research on key STI themes, and promoting the dissemination of scientific innovations and technologies to stakeholders such as policymakers, private sector actors, academia, and practitioners.
