The 2021 annual forum of the SGCI was held virtually from November 15 to 18, bringing together over 170 participants from 30 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the United States. Attendees included representatives from science granting councils (SGCs), Collaborating Technical Agencies, SGCI funding partners, and other stakeholders. The forum focused on key themes such as collaborative research, gender and inclusivity, open science, and a Master Class paper on “Public Engagement in Research and Innovation for Development.”
