The Masterclass conversations aim to foster peer learning and the exchange of experiences among the SGCI community. These sessions are structured around state-of-the-art research topics of interest. The 2021 Masterclass focused on the theme of Ethics and Integrity in Research and Innovation. Each year, the SGCI organizes a Masterclass that gathers representatives from the 15 participating Science Granting Councils (SGCs)—Botswana, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe—along with other Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) stakeholders from around the world. These gatherings provide a platform for deliberating and sharing experiences on strategic issues within the STI domain.
